WELCOME TO THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN

Japan

Japan (also known as the land of the rising sun) is a very popular travel destination, especially after it was closed to tourism for almost 3 years after the pandemic.

Almost everyone has heard of or seen photos of Japan in one way or another. Who has never eaten sushi? Who hasn’t seen the beautiful photos of Mount Fuji? And what about the modern cities of Tokyo and Osaka?

But Japan is much more than all of the above. Of course, you have to visit the famous and beautiful Tokyo and Kyoto. However, you should also get out of these cities and explore some other regions. Have you heard of Okinawa Island with its subtropical climate? And if you love being in nature why not spend some time in Hokkaido?

And what about its people? During the three weeks I spent in this beautiful country, I learned that Japanese are the nicest and most polite people you can ever meet. Always willing to help you, even if they don’t speak English.

Food-wise, Japan will also surpass your expectations. Japanese cuisine is absolutely delicious and it is also so much more than sushi! While in the country, make sure to taste ramen, curry, okonomiyaki, donburi, wagyu, mocchi, etc. The list of foods you have to try is endless!
