WELCOME TO THE LAND OF FJORDS

Norway, land of fjords, vikings and trolls, is a paradise for nature and hiking lovers. The raw nature of this country will leave you speechless. In  Norway you’ll find numerous fjords, where the sea enters inland sometimes for hundreds of kilometers, in a u-shaped valley surrounded by mountains. The thousands of islands spread throughout the country are also of inmense beauty. And not to mention the many glaciers and waterfalls spread throughout the country. The natural landmarks this country has to offer are endless. I have already been twice to this beautiful country and I can assure you, I will return.

Another amazing aspect Norway has to offer is the fact that if you visit during the months of June and July, in the northern part of the country, you’ll be able to experience the midnight sun phenomenon. Visiting outside the summer months? Then make sure that one of your activities is chasing the Northern Lights.

And what if you’re not into nature? Don’t worry, nature is not the only positive aspect about the country. For example, it cuisine is also delicious. You can’t find fresher fish than in Norway. When going into a restaurant, if you are uncertain on what to choose, always go for the fish of the day. You’ll not be disappointed. And if you have a sweet tooth, then you have to try the cinnamon rolls.

Culture wise, the capital Oslo, has an amazing selection of museums so if you’re into art, history, science, etc. make sure to include Oslo in you’re itinerary.

So? What are you waiting for to book your next trip to Norway?
