In this section, I will share with you all the websites and resources you will need to plan your trip on your own from A to Z. No need to contact travel agencies anymore! All of these are the tools I have been using for years and recommend based on my own experience. Planning your next adventure has never been this easy!

FLIGHTS
KIWI
I always use Kiwi as a search engine for flights. It is perfect for comparing all the flight possibilities to reach your desired destination. You will be able to choose the best option for you, based on time, connections, and price.
It also allows you to search for multi-city flights in case you want to fly to a city and return from a different one.
ACCOMMODATION
BOOKING
This is the website I always use to book my accommodation. It allows you to filter your search based on the type of lodging you are looking for (appartments, hotels, hostels, etc.), the price, the distance to the city center, and many more.
Another super advantageous thing about Booking is that for many places, it allows you to make reservations that can be canceled free of charge.
AIRBNB
Sometimes I also book accommodation with Airbnb. It is a great way to find cheaper places to stay. Depending on your budget, you can book a complete apartment for yourself or just a private bedroom.
CAR RENTAL
RENTALCARS
Looking for a rental car? Rentalcars is just what you need. It allows you to filter your search based on the type of car you are looking for, price, trunk capacity, type of car, and many other factors.
Another super advantageous thing about Rentalcars is that it allows you to make reservations that can be cancelled free of charge.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
WORLD NOMADS
As much as we like to think nothing bad will happen during our vacation, things can go wrong at any given time. Having Travel Insurance can give you the peace of mind to know that your expenses will be covered. I always use World Nomads when travelling, and I am quite happy with them. So far, I have only had to use them once, but everything was quite easy.
ESIM
AIRALO
An e-SIM will allow you to land at your destination and have internet on your phone without having to look for a national SIM card. Just install your card before you take off and activate it as soon as you land. We all know internet access is necessary to find the way from the airport to your hotel.
